A Forest of Accomplishments: Reflecting on 100,000 Trees Planted

Have you patted yourself on the back recently for a job well done? Regardless of the answer, we're giving you a reason to congratulate yourself now.

As a member of the Protect Earth community, you have contributed to the planting of 100,000 native, broad-leaf trees that are right for the environment!

Together, we have collectively shattered this threshold - this ceiling, whatever you'd like to call it, in just three short years!

Protect Earth has come along since we started in 2020, adding hedgerow development, wildflower meadow sowing, non-native plant removal, and habitat restoration (ancient woodlands and temperate rainforests). Nevertheless, exceeding 100,000 trees (the actual figure is 110,987) is impressive.

So, what's next? Well, we are on the hunt for poor-quality land to purchase and restore to woodlands or what's appropriate for the space. This also includes two projects on land owned and managed by Protect Earth planting more opportunities to put more numbers on the board.

How long will it take for us to reach 500,000? 1,000,000 trees? The answer is uncertain, but with your continued support - through donations or attending events - we can celebrate this milestone of 100,000 trees planted and the environmentally friendly achievements we'll make in the future.
