All friends, supporters, donors and nature lovers are invited to join us for our first ever Family Fun Day at High Wood in Liskeard, Cornwall. It will be a great day out, and you’ll learn about our plans for High Wood, and Protect Earth in general! Also a chance to have your say if there is something you would like to see here. Please walk, cycle or come by bus if you possibly can, as parking is very limited.

11:OO - Start of the day with a table top sale, children's bug hunt and marshmallow toasting ongoing throughout the day.

11:30 - Ecology Walk (about an hour) - Encounter some of the birds, insects and other wildlife that inhabit this special place in mid-summer, spot indicators of ancient woodland and Cornwall's industrial heritage and learn about Protect Earth's plans to restore High Wood back to a native broadleaf woodland. (Meet by the Protect Earth banner)

12:00 - 2:00 - BBQ - Both meat and vegan options available. So that we can order food on eventbrite and email kathy [at ] protect.earth to specify vegetarian/vegan option.

2:30 - Medicinal and Edible Plant Plant Walk (about 45 minutes) - Find, identify and discuss medicinal, edible and other useful wild plants. (Meet by the Protect Earth banner)

4:00 - Close
